While we appreciate the improvements, it’s tricky to keep the new elements and replace just the cabinetry. The layout feels tight, and the wood tone dominates the space in a way that doesn’t quite match our vision for a fresh, coastal-inspired retreat.
There are several design layout changes that made a huge difference in both functionality and aesthetics.
The cabinetry extends all the way to the ceiling, maximizing storage and giving the space a more polished, high-end look.
The distance between the countertops and upper cabinets is now the standard 18 inches—a noticeable improvement over the previous layout, which offers less clearance.
Everything got right-sized to the scale of the kitchen. The appliances and sink are scaled more appropriately to this condo kitchen - allowing for better flow and function.
