When designing our Door County vacation rental, I wanted fabrics that would reflect a coastal vibe with casual style and vibrant colors. I turned to Spoonflower, a vendor known for its unique, artist-designed textiles, to find the perfect patterns.
Henrietta by Spoonflower
Henrietta Fabric – A Cozy Touch for the Main Living Area
For the main living space, I selected the Henrietta fabric (seen in the first image). This pattern, with its soft golden blooms, muted greens, and subtle blue accents, evokes the feeling of wildflowers swaying in the breeze. The organic shapes and natural hues tie beautifully into the serene, wooded surroundings of our rental. It adds a cheerful, welcoming feel that makes guests want to settle in and stay a while.
Vintage Abstract Floral by Spoonflower
Vintage-Inspired Abstract Floral for the Bedroom
In the bedroom, I opted for a soft and harmonious abstract floral vintage pattern (seen in the second image). This design brings a touch of vibrant color, balancing warm mustard tones with cool blues and green. The delicate botanical elements create a whimsical, restful retreat, echoing the lush landscapes and charming gardens of Door County.
These fabrics don’t just add visual appeal—they help create a sense of place, blending interior design with the beauty of the great outdoors. Whether lounging in the living area or unwinding in the bedroom, our guests will be surrounded by thoughtful, nature-inspired details.
What do you think of these fabric choices? Would you love to stay in a space designed with nature in mind? Book your stay and experience it for yourself!
